As a career counselor, you will have the opportunity to guide coachees through their career issues in a coaching and developmental manner. You will not only help them find their ideal direction, but also draw up concrete action plans. We are looking for someone who is flexible in the use of different methodologies, who recognizes psychosocial signals and who also gives advice on job application methods or taking next career steps.

Tasks
- Clarifying a career question.
- Dealing with career questions in a coaching and developmental manner.
- Agile and flexible deployment of different tools, methodologies and styles.
- Guide coachees in finding their passions and talents.
- Create an action plan with your coachee.
- Recognize stress/burnout signs as well as psychosocial issues and refer as needed.
- You can advise on appropriate application and presentation methods and profiling in the job market.
- Lifelong learning: current insights on future-proofing work from both science and practice.
- Be visible on social media, give Facebook live/blog/webinar depending on your personal specialty
- Administration around career guidance: necessary agreements, attendance list, registration My Career from VDAB.

- Show empathy to connect well with customer, build trust
- daring to say confrontational things, dealing with resistance, influencing (in a respectful and tactful manner according to feedback rules)

- Be visible/commercial: social media, give Facebook/blogs/webinar, hand out flyers, network with primary care physicians/psychologists/kinesiologists.
- Persuasion on telephone intake.
- Administration does not deter you.
Qualifications
- You are certified as a career coach or have other supporting experience and/or training
- You speak and write fluent Dutch.
- You are fluent with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- You are digital minded: Zoom, Teams, WebinarGeek ...
- You are familiar with social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
