What can you expect from us?
At Travvant, as a recognized partner of VDAB, you pay only €45 per career check. Your first check guarantees four hours of personal and individual coaching with a certified coach, followed by another three hours with the second check. The actual value of one hour of career coaching is €182. So career checks are financially very advantageous!
Our professional job coaches, spread across several Flemish provinces, are specialists in employment counseling, perfectionism coaching, HSP, giftedness, leadership, multipotentialism, entrepreneurship, retirement preparation and work-life integration. We always strive for concrete solutions, including advice on career switches to sectors such as healthcare, education and more.
New policy on career counseling - what is changing and what does it mean for you?
Career counseling is for everyone. That has always been our guiding principle at Travvant. Everyone deserves to reflect on their career from time to time. To recharge, to dream, to grow.
But Flemish minister Zuhal Demir decided that a limit of 1,000 career vouchers per month would be introduced from March 2025. This is a hefty restriction compared to before, when there was no monthly limit.
For you as a working Fleming, this means it's best to apply for your career cheques quickly if you're considering counseling. Because: gone = gone. When the ceiling of 1,000 cheques per month is reached, your application will only be processed the following month.
Specifically, what does this mean?
- You can still apply for 2 career checks every 6 years.
- The content of the guidance does not change: you still get 7 hours of professional guidance at Travvant for only 45 euros per check.
- But: only 1,000 checks are awarded per month. Those who get there quickly have priority.
