What is outplacement?

Outplacement or outplacement guidance is the support provided by a licensed outplacement agency, which provides services to a laid-off employee on behalf of an employer. This can include both group and individual coaching and support. The central mission is to accommodate a laid-off employee as best as possible in order to smoothly launch them back into a new career. In this way, we are the outplacement partner for both employee and employer.

Outplacement and legislation

General regulation of outplacement

The law provides for 3 types of outplacement:

  1. The general regulation of outplacement;
  2. The specific regulationof outplacement for employees at least 45 years old;
  3. The specific regulation of outplacement in the context of an activating policy in restructuring.
