Too good to be true? No. This is the daily reality of "coach on the road" Charlotte De Vos: someone who can work from anywhere because she works where she is. When you have a mobile office and people can come to you no matter where you are, the world is at your feet. Then you can work just as well from the Spanish Pyrenees as along the edge of the Antwerp waterfront.
Never going to that pesky office again
As a coach, I help people create their dream life and dream job by making bold and conscious choices.
I receive coaching requests by phone or email and the intake interview is done live or via Skype. Depending on the chosen coaching process and the needs of the client, I coach in Belgium (from my VAN), online or abroad.
The realization that we live in special times when we can arrange our lives location-independently makes us feel immensely free. After all, why go on summer vacation for only two weeks when you could just as easily stay away for two months? When you no longer have to be in a location at certain days and times, anything is possible.
Setting up an online business
Of course, you don't have to become a "coach on the road" to enjoy that freedom; there are other options. As a digital nomad with an online business, you can work from anywhere.
And more and more companies are hiring remote workers. Today these are mostly hip start-ups, but traditional companies are expected to follow soon.
You can also work professionally as a blogger, translator, IT professional or online marketer as a digital nomad.
Why 'coach on the road' is the best job
I myself have also tried a few things to live my freedom and passion as much as possible. For example, I have founded my own IT company, started a successful web shop, and since a few years I mainly coach entrepreneurs and teams at home and abroad.
To align my passion for coaching with my personal values of freedom and independence, I started my own coaching concept where I do not coach from a boring office, but where I am free to coach wherever I am.
I like to coach face-to-face, as well as online and by Skype, and it works incredibly well. Through a wifi hotspot or wifi mobile router, I am always online.
